Colville Outfitters and Custom Tackle

I ordered a reel for colville and was super exited about it. After about a week of not hearing much after paying I ended up calling the store to find out my order had not been able to be fulfilled due to technical error. I spoke with Zak who was super nice, understanding and helped sort everything out, in the end Zak helped me find a killer reel that I love, that's truly made with perfection and functionality in mind, the fact that it's stunning is just a plus. All in all a great shopping experience, fantastic customer service, will certainly order again for them!

Ordered a custom reel in early July. Danny told me it was in getting coated mid August and would be ready by mid September. Asked about the reel mid October said he was swamped working through orders. Mid December he tells me it's a week away from being done. Early January he says he can't get anyone to coat the reel. Seemed like a really good dude, good to talk to, but I can't stand people who lie, you're only as good as your word. Outside the custom order experience, I've been to the shop, has everything one needs. I've heard great things about Danny, but I personally had a bad experience. Added post response from owner: All I kept hearing was the reel was looking great and almost done every month. 6 months later in December he literally said "it'll be done next week". It wasn't until January I heard for the first time he was having an issue with the annodizer. If he'd been up front with me, I wouldn't be leaving a bad review. I have no problem waiting, but I do expect people to be open with me. Just tell me you're having issues with the anodizer, don't tell me it'll be ready next week.
